I decided to make a trip to NYC straight from Chicago. I just wanted to get away for a little. I stayed with my buds Adel and Rajib at there place in the financial district. It was crazy, its a block away from Wall St. Monday morning was crazy outside. Its so lively. Well here is a summary of my trip.

This past Thursday the 19th, ABC had a party at Funk Lounge in Downtown Chicago. I was out with some friends at a bar called O’Mallies earlier in the night. 2$ mixed drinks all night. I did that number for a while until around 1:45am. From there, I went down to Division St. to go to Funk Lounge to meet up with the ABC crew. Vic Lloyd was the DJ so you knew the music was set. There were plenty of Chicago’s finest girls there. I used my camera to approach them. “Who are you with?”…they asked…”imreebs.com”. I even got a free drink by snapping a picture of the lady bartender. Thanks for the love ABC. If you’re in Chicago, make sure to make it out to one of there events.
My 1st day in Chicago wasn’t blogged until now. I met up with the Akomplice Clothing guys at Leaders 1354 in Wicker Park first, then went to the other location downtown. I met the LDRS 1354 crew, @VicLloyd @MikeyyDiamond @JoeFreshgoods @VitaMorte @RegularOlTy (Follow them on Twitter), and they were all cool ass dudes. The store is stocked up with the finest streetwear brands. If you’re ever in Chicago, check them out.

Day 4…we watched football at Stretch Bar off of Ohio st. We kicked back for a while, grabbed sushi, and played some drinking games. We ended the night chillin with an old friend, and her room mate. The 5th day, we went around Rush st, Michigan ave., and some other areas. I’m exhausted…so i’m cutting this short. peace.
